Dear Nigel and staff,
Congratulations on a most outstanding facility at Taro. We visited in early May with our 6 grand-daughters and their 4 parents, having read about the park before leaving Australia for Bali. Words can't describe the sheer joy experienced by the kids during the ride and when feeding, patting the elephants. The grown-ups were blown away too! None of us wanted to leave!
We plan to come back to Bali with the whole family in 2008 (our eldest son, wife and 3-year-old couldn't come this year due to the imminent arrival of our first grandson!). What we need to know is the date when you expect the baby to arrive (yours, not ours!!). How long after the baby's birth will the new elephant be introduced to the public? We'll plan our trip around this time if at all possible.
We captured some delightful images/movies at the park that will be shown to anyone that walks in the door! Have you ever considered a plan where people can sponsor an elephant (especially one that needs rescuing)? It would be great for kids/families to follow the progress of a particular animal that they might have helped in some small way.
Once again, THANK YOU, for creating such a stunning facility. We can't wait to return.
