Nose Around the Awesome Elephant Museum

Over 1000 exhibits including fossil artefacts dating back 5 million years, prehistoric horns, ceremonial pieces, century old mammoth tusks, elephant skulls, tiger claws, bone carvings and a 300-year-old carved African elephant tusk can be seen at the Elephant Safari Park Museum.

The fine, handmade mammoth ivory products are exhibited and sold to a world wide audience, generating much needed Elephant Foundation funds for the continued rescue, care and upkeep of the Sumatran elephants in our safari refuge.

Selling the art works not only raises the profile of these humble giants, but part of the proceeds goes directly back into transmigrating other endangered Sumatran elephants to our park sanctuary, feeding, breeding & development programs, and to assist with costs of medical and vitamin supplements needed to maintain the health and well-being of the elephants. Currently there are less than 1,100 Indonesian elephants left in the wild and their numbers are rapidly decreasing.
